The Mercure is a modernized city hotel near the main railway station and GFZ; our unspectacular 'basic' hotel. The room rate for a single room is 80 EUR and includes VAT, service and breakfast.
Please make your hotel reservation yourself, referring to the booking code "GRACE STM" or "SPP 1257". The block reservation will expire on Sept 14, 2007 so please make your reservation before this date.
GFZ has contract rates arranged with some other Potsdam hotels - see the pdf file - which we also recommend for your stay. When making your reservation, please refer to the booking code "GeoForschungsZentrum" to obtain the GFZ rate.
You are encouraged to request a written confirmation to verify your reservation. In case of late arrival (past 6 pm), you should inform the hotel and include your credit card data in the reservation.
